How big is the box? What about the plants?

The box is 10" x 8"   The plants vary in size - typically 3" - 5" tall, which are standard 1 gallon size plants at nurseries.   The plants are shipped in 2.5" nursery liners for shipping efficiency.

How large will the plants get?

Accepted Answer

This is dependent on the plant species and whether it's grown in a yard or container. Plants grown in the ground will typically get bigger than in pots. The care information card will include this information.

Question 4

My plants have been healthy during the growing season & seemed to have died when winter hit - what happened?

Accepted Answer

Don't worry, many perennial plants are deciduous meaning they naturally die back in the winter and will resprout in the spring. Keep watering them according to the care card and they will come back.   Your seed packet contains annuals, which only last one season, but if you let them go to seed, they will come back the following year!

Why should I plant my milkweed plants together?
